Robert B. Leet, age 72 and a resident of Belvedere, California is a Director of Presidio Bank in San Francisco, California .

Through his retirement in 2003, Mr. Leet had built an exemplary 40-year career in banking, primarily in the Bay Area of California. Mr. Leet is currently self-employed as a consultant and senior advisor to financial services firms in the San Francisco Bay Area.

From 1990 through 2003, Mr. Leet worked at The Mechanics Bank, Richmond, California serving as Executive Vice President, Senior Lending Officer, and Chair of the Loan Committee during his entire tenure at the bank. He also served on the following management committees: Asset Liability Committee, Management Committee and IT Committee. During his fourteen-year term with The Mechanics Bank, Mr. Leet presided over significant growth in total loan assets, reductions in problem loans and profitability.

Mr. Leet has experience in organizing new banks, having spent 1988 and 1989 working on the organization and establishment of Tamalpais Bank as an organizer. Shortly before opening, the organizers of Tamalpais Bank agreed to merge with the organizers of Bank of Marin also in formation.

Mr. Leet served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of California National Bank from 1986 through 1988. Mr. Leet 's role with that bank ended when Mbank, the principal shareholder in the bank negotiated its sale to a group of foreign investors.

Mr. Leet served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Commercial Bank of San Francisco from 1983 through 1986. He was hired by the principal shareholder of the bank to turn around an institution that was unprofitable, undercapitalized, illiquid and carried extreme loan asset problems in its portfolio. He left to join California National Bank at the request of the principal shareholder of that bank who sought an experienced person to turn around a similarly unprofitable institution with a portfolio of problem loans.

Mr. Leet served as Executive Vice President of Barclays Bank of California from 1981 through 1983. He supervised the following departments while serving there: Credit, Operations, Marketing and Commercial Banking.

Mr. Leet began his banking career in 1964 as a management trainee with Wells Fargo. He held a variety of roles, working in the retail, corporate banking and international banking divisions before leaving the bank in 1981 as Senior Vice President and Manager of the San Francisco Main Office, Wells Fargo's largest retail banking office in the system at that time.

Mr. Leet currently serves as the Chairman of the West Contra Costa Business Development Center, a Richmond based nonprofit entity whose mission is to provide start up and technical assistance to small growing, developing companies in the area. He recently joined the Board of the Presidio Bank upon its organization by a group of San Francisco Bay Area entrepreneurs. The bank opened for business in July, 2006, and provides a full array of services to small and medium size businesses from three strategically located commercial banking centers around the bay. Over the years, Mr. Leet has served on numerous other boards of Bay Area companies and non-profit organizations.

Mr. Leet is a veteran of the United States Navy, having served from 1958 through his honorable discharge in 1964 at the rank of Lieutenant Commander, Naval Aviation Officer. Mr. Leet graduated from the University of California , Berkeley with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science in 1957 and completed the Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management at the Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College , in 1974.
